A17 Rigid vinyl thicker than 0.040″ has a very strong “memory” and is extremely difficult to flatten out before installation. Installing wall covering that has not been completely flattened out will seriously hamper the ability of the adhesive to create a strong bond with the wall, and therefore should never be attempted.
