• When doing ring casting, cast might have been too cold or quenched too fast casting temperature recommended is approximately 1850F. When working with Deox Silver, the castings must be air cooled for 15 20 minutes (not quench) before dropping into the pickle. If the casting are quenched immediately the casting will crack, or be brittle.
