Why are reserve due dates important?
We use reserve due dates to prioritize which requests to work on first. Our goal is to ensure that your readings are available on time and date consistent with your syllabus. For example, if a reading is due to be discussed in class October 22nd, list a “reserve by” date of October 1st. This allows the Reserves staff to make materials available in a timely manner during the high-volume periods.
