Why are replays available on my FanClub?
Prior to the debut of FanClubs, replays represented the only way on iFriendsV2 for fee-based chathosts to earn income on a 24/7 continuous basis. While replays continue to serve as a “value alternative” to live sessions for iFriendsV2 members who can’t afford live videochat rates or a FanClub membership, they also suffer from another important limitation: Like a television set with only one channel that you can tune in, a chathost can run only one replay at a given time. With FanClubs, however, your paying FanClub members can be simultaneously downloading any material from your Replay Library. Also, our own research has determined that the tiny amount of revenues generated from replay shows – a trivially small fraction of the revenues generated from live videochats — is substantially less than the revenue potential of FanClubs.
