Why are religious people so closed minded?

0

They’re not all closed minded. But, in their defense; how would you feel if you felt absolutely comfortable with an idea and people started to break it down? Generally, you’d hold on to that idea with all your might and defend it against anyone who would want to break it down. Such behaviour usually results in the other person being closed-minded, that simply nothing gets through and that is why you think such people are closed-minded. Disregarding the fact that – even when the idea in question is not a question of religion, it could very easily be the idea that, for example, you think that Obama is a good president, although with this I’m certainly not saying he isn’t – you would do exactly the same.
