Why are rates of non-Hodgkins lymphoma rising?
The simple answer is nobody knows. Researchers have looked at a number of possible causes, such as the increase in the number of people who are obese, or the growing popularity of sunbathing. However, there is no evidence that either obesity or exposure to sunlight will increase the risks of you developing lymphoma – though excessive exposure to sunlight is a risk factor for skin cancer.
