Why are Psion anniversaries transferred to GroupWise as notes?
GroupWise does not support the concept of an anniversary. The closest equivalent to an anniversary in GroupWise is a note. As Psion Day Notes are synchronised with GroupWise notes, it was decided that Psion anniversaries would be transferred to GroupWise as a note with the characters ‘[A]’ added to the end of the note’s subject. Using this technique, LinkWise assumes any GroupWise note with the characters ‘[A]’ at the end of the subject to be an anniversary.
