Why are pro-lifers so mute when it comes to the war in Iraq?
This is a political question and belongs in Politics. Yes, plenty of us pro-lifers could answer it for you over there, since it is a common theme from the libs. As someone already said, this is apples and oranges. Pro-lifers get our beliefs about the sanctity of life in the womb from the Bible. It is clear from Scripture that there are different types of killings and not all are murder. Our military is there primarily for peace-keeping. We are not just over there mowing people down. If the insurgents are using women and children, that is to their shame. Keep it straight.
It makes no sense. You can’t say abortion is categorically wrong but war can be even a necessary evil. That is Machievellan logic and not Christian. Jesus forgave the men who crucified him and said NOT to seek an “eye for an eye” but to “turn the other cheek.” The “Christian right” seems to have forgotten his teachings and they are hurting their religion by sacrificing the truth to achieve some fabled end. People will see the hypocrisy involved and turn away from their religion so they lose when they don’t engage the right way. You can’t sacrifice integrity & have any real moral authority.
You are blind my friend and you cannot see that we are coming down to a valley of decision. God is bringing man down to this valley of decision and man will choose either God or man. Do you not know the Word of God, the KJV Holy Bible? The Islamic muslims are told to kill the infidels (Jews & Christians) where ever they find them. I believe Islam is a Satanic religion and Muhammad dealt with Satan because Satan is known as an angel of light. Satan doesn’t worry about any other religions except Judaism and Christianity.
