Why are portfolio deletion alerts issued only once a week?

[ top ] Many subscribers have asked why we do not issue deletion alerts intra-week instead of waiting until the end of the trading week. By issuing our deletion alerts after the close of trading for the week, we allow all subscribers at least two days to decide whether there is any action they will need to take. If we were to issue our alerts during the course of the trading week, it would place some subscribers at an advantage over others. Also, we have tried to make the SSR system as easy to follow as possible. Knowing that there will only be one alert a week eliminates the need to wonder whether alerts will be issued during the course of the trading week.
