Why are pit bulls targeted for dog fighting?
Pit bulls have certain attributes that make them prized for fighting, like strong jaws and necks and a determination to please people. If you play fetch, you better get some Bengay for your arm! It’s largely what we’ve talked about: You can’t condemn entire breeds because of the actions of a few individuals, and you can’t condemn any individual animal based on the history or characteristics of the breed.
