Why are people who have had the vaccine getting sick?
As we said earlier, the vaccine only ‘takes’ in 80% (if one dose) to 90% (if two doses) of those who get vaccinated. That means that 10% – 20% of those who get the vaccine can still get the disease, but it is harder for the disease to spread because so many people are protected from it.
