Why are people so afraid of chow dogs?
I am not afraid of chows. They are very intelligent; however, they dont have the strong desire to please their masters as do breeds like the Golden retriever or others. The aggressions that come in with this breed is no fault of chows. It makes training them very diffcult than other breeds. They don’t really respond to the average methods of training and motivation, but they don’t rolerate physical puhishment and can’t be force into anything. If someone beats a chow, it can result in viciousness or a broken spirit. Chows are kinda similar to cats where they are willing to do what suit their mood at the time. They are naturally an independent thinker and make their own decision!
