Why are people offended when someone says Happy Easter to them, but not offended at other things?

People shouldn’t get offended. I don’t celebrate Easter or Christmas as I’m Pagan so when someone wishes me happy Easter, etc I merely say “Thank you but I don’t celebrate that.” and go on my way. No need to start making rules in the workplace about it.
