I must say I have to agree with you. It’s almost worse than the whole Jonas Brothers thing. I think people are obsessed about Twilight because Stephenie Meyer has created a group of characters that are the models of perfection: powerful, intelligent, beautiful, and invincible; exactly how we would want our boyfriends to be. I like the books a lot, but this is just too much.

well, once it got big, more and more people started liking them and–people just REALLY like the people, just the thought of, for example, have a boyfriend like Edward thats so sweet and nice and prtective and stuff.
