Why are people in America so crazy about guns?
“The most psychotic people tend to have them too. I wish they were banned. I’d do it myself if I could.” I got a better suggestion: Lock up the most psychotic people. By banning guns you are only punishing the many law abiding for the actions of a few, not to mention leaving those many law abiding people at the mercy of the psychotic ones. “Your guns are not going to defend you against a modern army, btw. Look up Uday and Qusay Hussein in Iraq. They got taken out with Javelins from a Humvee.” Look up the vietnamese against the US Armed forces. Look up the mujahadeen against the Russians. Isnt it interesting how liberals tell us that we cant win in Afghanistan due to the guerilla tactics of the Taliban, yet turn around and say that guns cannot defend us against a modern army. “Lunatics like the Santa Claus killer and Cho Seung Hui could’ve been deterred by a federal anti-gun law.” You say that as if no such thing exists. There are already THOUSANDS of Federal anti-gun laws.
No, you are wrong. No mater what I write you will not change your mind. Be glad people have them. If not, you would be witting this in German or Japanese. And you would have been a defeated British Subject in the colonies, Not an American. Because of guns owned by the people, we are a country. Because we own guns, we donated them in WW1 and again in WW2 to a British Empire that had very strict gun control laws. The Army did not have enough guns to defend it self much less invade. Poland,France, all of Europe had the strict laws, Hitler rolled over them. You say can’t happen it the modern world, Don’t you believe it. One of the first ten steps in the taking over of a country by Communists is to eliminate private ownership of guns. Every dictator in the world wants his people disarmed. Every socialist government wants private ownership of guns banned. If you think feeling safer is worth a basic freedom , you are only fooling your self and you never deserved the freedom.
I hope they ban religion. I’d like to see broccoli banned as well. Car stereos should go and cigarettes have no place in a civilized world. Fried foods….gone! Those pants that people wear that show 3/4 of a guys skives…..ban ’em! Fat women….ban them as well. Our bloated military….anyone named Bush….trans-national corporations….all of that cheesy $#$% from China and people that keep bring up this BS issue about ‘guns’……who’s with me?
