Why are people comparing the Bulger killers with Baby Peters killers?
You have got it right. The Jamie Bulger killers were children who had been dragged up from the gutter.Deighton put it well–They had no clue -besides knowing it was wrong–the repercussions of their actions. Unlike Barker/Connolly/Owens they did not seek to deceive or hide their abuse and lie for many many months so a baby could be used as a continual punchbag by a wicked evil psychopath. Tracy Connolly was an adult–Yes it is very obvious she is as thick as champ but she was smart enough to lie to the authorities and it would seem very convincingly. Those boys were failed as well (bring on the TD)–neglected and never taught by anyone to be respectful and loving. Connolly/Barker etc are just evil monsters who knew what they were doing was wrong!
