Why are Peer to Peer applications bad?
Most of the files that people share on peer to peer networks are unauthorized copies of copyrighted music and movies. The sharing of these materials is illegal. Also, many viruses are transmitted via P2P networks. Additionally, most P2P applications come bundled with spyware that slows down your computer and causes popups. Not to mention that installing a peer to peer is a violation of the Electronic Information Policy.
