Why are organelles important to the cell?

http://www.usd.edu/~bgoodman/ReviewFrames.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organelle Basically it is Organelles that separate and maintain all the different and integral chemical reactions within cells, and thus able a cell to function properly as a useful piece of biology. Without organelles, a cell would just be a random soup of biological chemicals, and wouldnt be able to work at all. Food would be mixed with waste, mixed with structural components and everything else!
