Why are only certain merchants listed in the drop down box on the gift form?
For privacy considerations we do not go into details as to why a particular merchant is not on the list. We do have minimum customer service and reliability requirements. It’s possible that a merchant has not yet submitted an application to be listed. Since space on the list is limited, from time to time we will remove less active merchants. Member Merchants are not included on the list because they all should have “Add to Registry” buttons on their site (so it is not necessary for you to enter the gifts yourself.) They can also add gifts for you manually from their merchant back end. If you do not see your merchant on the list you can still register their gifts as “Cash Gifts” and then ordering the gift yourself.
