Why are Oil rich Arab countries so quiet about Israel?
If the leaders of the oil rich Arab countries wanted to free the oppressed from their oppressors, they could most effectively start with themselves and the citizens of their own nations who are oppressed, and the far more people who are murdered unjustly in their nations than ever have been killed by the Israelis. Plus, you have a pretty bizarre notion of oppression if you think that the lack of a Palestinian tennis player equals oppression. Plenty of Palestinians, and Israeli Arabs, participate in all kinds of international events, just not tennis. If you’re concerned about oppression and sports, you might with wonder about the greater issue of the dearth of women athletes from Arab nations. But I guess it’s much easier to focus on Israel than on self-critiques. If Israel didn’t exist, Arab leaders would have to invent some other scapegoat to divert the public from their real problems.
