Why are observation hours a requirement for admittance into the ATP; can they be completed off-campus?
The observation hours, completed as part of the coursework for HAL 205, Introduction to Athletic Training, give the prospective applicant a “hands on” impression of the daily activities of athletic trainers and allow him or her to experience the profession while learning about it in class. All observation hours are completed on-campus.
