Why are my links a different color in GMail or other email clients?
Many email clients such as GMail have a default text color for all links. If a link is inserted into the email and a link color is not specified, the email client will use their default link color for all links. For example, all GMail themes have a different default link colors. The link colors will be the same color as the menu links as seen on the left side portion of the GMail client. If you want the link colors in your email to always appear a specific color, the link will need to be set to a specific color. You can follow the following steps to do this: To change the link color in Internet Explorer: • Go to the block containing the link. • Click on the Edit icon . • Highlight the link you wish to specifiy the color of. • Click on the Text Color Icon . • Select the color you want the link to be.
