Why are my geraniums, which are planted in a moss basket, developing brown, woody spots and not blooming much?
Your plants may not be getting enough sunlight, and they are likely suffering oedema, the accumulation of excess water in plant tissues. Move your basket into a site which receives more sunlight and reduce watering to the point where plants are just barely moist enough that they do not wilt. Remove any decorative, external basket covers.
