Why are most societies so ignorant about the facts of Marijuana?
There are no absolutes. Example: Scandinavian coffee houses still allow this weed popular usage in paper or pipes. Tobacco smokers are now being required to take that filthy habit outside of these drug havens. At location of this Answer urban tobacco use cannot be employed outside if within 25 feet of public use door. Tobacco is not permitted in food or alcohol serving areas. Alcohol use is even more tightly constrained. High taxes are placed upon purchase of alcohol or tobacco products. I’d expect same from officialdom for Marijuana.
The Stigma that history has stained on the words “Marijuana” and “smoking”, will never be eliminated, and people will never, ever let go of history, especially racial history. This argument will now never end politically, so its up to people to make their own judgements and choices on marijuana from now on, as stigma has ruined any and all chance at a fair, scientific analysis of cannabis. Its really up to everyone to just stop the bullshit all at once, drop the stigma, drop the bias, and just come to a consensus so we can move on to a better understanding of both sides of this argument. Until then, all the words you say are in vain.
