Why are most of the best selling beers in America light brands?
The calories are lower, and the beer is clearer color. Light beer flavor goes with any kind of food, the heavier beers flavors often do not mix as well with different foods. Bud also advertises alot specifically for their Bud Light brand and their ads are funny. Beer is often listed and stocked alphabetically in restaurants and stores so Bud Light is near the top of the list. Since 2001 the best selling beer in the USA and in the world has been Bud Light. Regular Budweiser is still a clear second place in the United States (as well as the world), with Miller Lite, Coors Lite, and Corona Extra not far behind in the USA.
