Why are millions of employees dissatisfied with their jobs?
When it comes to job satisfaction, you, your parents and grand parents were conditioned to believe that in exchange for your hard work, time and talents, the employer would reciprocate by helping to enable your job satisfaction. This is no longer happening, and in fact, both the employer and employees have reached the limit to what they’re willing to give. This is why we keep dealing with the same old problems: layoffs, job eliminations, longer hours, lower pay, shrinking benefits, rising costs, bad bosses and bully co-workers. Problems caused by people, but also due to forces beyond anyone’s ability to control: the economy, business trends, natural disasters, the impacts of war, terrorism, theft, cost-cutting initiatives, restructuring and mismanagement.
