Why are Merit Badges taught at Universities?
Merit Badge Universities give our scouts exposure to some of Middle Tennessee’s largest and most respected higher education institutions. Scouts and adults become acquainted with each campus and location. In many cases, the facilities and equipment are much more advanced; plus, a good number of the teachers work in the area the Merit Badge covers.
