Why Are Men Sexist Against Women?
Well, not all of us are, and some to varying degrees. First you need to be specific with your definition of sexist. Are you considering sexual harassment or womanizing (as in pornography)? Do you reference not being treated fairly in the job market, or the roles in the household, or are you 100% women’s lib? Some men are just insensitive jerks. Some greatly lack in maturity. Some bully and are egotistical. And some women remain (notice the word “remain”) in abusive relationships, date sex-craved pigs, act in promiscuous ways, sleep around, and act in porn movies. They probably get what they deserve. I personally would be considered a chauvinist to many, because I believe in showing proper manners and respect to a women: We (men) should hold the door for you; pull out your (women) chair and/or wait for you to seated first; stand when you arrive to a table, meeting, or conversation; expect to pick up the tab if we’re the ones who proposed the date; and changing the subject of a conversat
