Why are men not allowed to wear skirts when women can wear trousers ?
I don’t know if you a man or not, but do you want to wear skirts. There is no one saying that men can only do this and women can only do that. If men want to wear a skirt they can wear a skirt. But the reason why men don’t want to wear skirts is because it would probably take away from their masculinity. Women wear trousers because women are more into fashion than men and they are always looking for new trends. I actually saw men wearing skirts in fashion Week a couple of years ago! how bout that!
It is not accepted by society for men to wear skirts in this country. However, that does not mean that men are not allowed to do it. Skirts were worn by men for thousands of years, it was only a few hundred years ago that men started wearing trousers. It could become accepted for men to wear skirts if enough men would start wearing them in public. Men wearing skirts has nothing to do with being gay. I have worn skirts in public and I’m not even close to being gay. I love skirts because they are very comfortable. I have recieved a lot of stares and strange looks and I have had people to laugh but I don’t care, the opinions of other people is something I don’t worry about. If you want to try wearing skirts you have got a right to do it, I say go for it. If you wait until society accepts it you might be waiting for a mighty long time. You will just have to ignore the stares and strange looks you will get and you will have to not care what other people thinks. Good luck to you.
