Why are medical history updates important?
Many medical conditions will directly affect our oral health (diabetes, AIDS, Sjogrens, etc.) or their medications (for hypertension, heart disease, depression, cancer, etc.) will affect us indirectly. Your dentist MUST be informed of all conditions and medications, even if it does not seem pertinent, to safely manage your treatment and prevention program.
