Why are mass media interested in reaching large audiences rather than contributing to culture sensitivity?
A larger audiens means more fame. More fame means more money. More money and this business can grow. As far as anyone’s concerned, mass media isn’t going to be anywhere near cultural sensitivity… for a long while. They plan to reach the younger and more valuable groups in the world – the victims as we call them. That’s how they get money – and that’s how we lose ours.
