The overall landscape of airsoft guns, covers nearly all genres, and types of guns. From spring, to gas to electrical, from classic army to the latest high-tech design, the sky is the limit on the options available to the airsoft enthusiasts. One of the very popular models on the market today is the M16 airsoft gun. For those that aren’t educated in military warfare, a simple history may be in order. The M16 rose to popularity with the US Military during the jungle campaigns in Vietnam, around 1963. It was such a success in that military campaign that by the end of 1969 the M16 was the official weapon of the military. Since the war in Vietnam ended, their has been a continual rise in popularity, and has been used by many countries across the world, including many Nato countries.
