Why are Indians racist against blacks and mexicans?
Definitely based on their own cultural beliefs. American stereotypes have nothing to do with it, in my experience the most racist personalities are minorities themselves. Generally speaking, Indians are particular in that. It’s important to understand Indian society–99% of their population is living below the poverty line, and 1% is extremely rich. They are extremely class conscious, and when you have upwardly mobile families from that culture, you will of course have snobbery, and they will be judgmental. They therefore will have particular airs about others, and feelings of superiority. All people do it, of course, but that culture specifically is a perfect breeding ground for it. They are also somewhat insecure about their own status as a minority in America, and can react negatively when they see other minorities that are, in their view, taking the opportunities for granted and acting somewhat irresponsible. All cultures are prejudiced against other cultures, to a small degree.
