Why are Humans the only species to have sex, and other physical contact for enjoyment?

We enjoy sex because that enjoyment ensures we will continue having it, and thus continue the species. We can’t tell what other animals feel, because they don’t talk to us. We can be certain that most of them do enjoy sex, as much as they are capable of enjoying anything. They enjoy eating too. We talk about it to each other, and we are aware of it’s consequences (reproduction) and can manage to side step that and just get the enjoyment without kids. But if you’ve ever seen two dogs going at it, (or a dog going at your leg) it seems, to me at least that that dog isn’t engaged in family planning, it’s getting off, and enjoying it. Do they know it leads to puppies? Maybe, but I can’t imagine how you’d prove it. So I’d argue that we’re unique in using birth control, but not in having sex for joy. As far as touching for sheer joy, well lots of animals cuddle, and seem to suffer for lacking some kind of contact. Apes, birds, dogs again, all of them rub each other, or enjoy it if we do it fo
