Why are homes so expensive in San Mateo County?
San Mateo County provides homebuyers many benefits; I would actually like to move to the San Mateo, Burlingame area eventually! I believe its proximity to everywhere in the Bay Area especially San Francisco, East Bay, and South Bay make it a prime location. It has a wonderful blend of suburban neighborhoods, small community shopping and restaurants with culturally diverse population, unique cafes, nature parks, and great recreational choices. All of those benefits combined with the lack of land and the desire for many Bay Area residents to live on the Peninsula just brings up the demand in the area.
