The cost of continuing development of digital technology and the manufacturing costs of custom made products set high prices for us retailers to purchase from the manufacturers. Hearing Aids are not sold in masses like televisions or cars, and can only be sold by professionally qualified ‘Registered Hearing Aid Dispensers’ requiring many hours of dispenser care and attention over the period of use expected from them – that can be 7 years of ongoing aftercare service!
