Why are germans always refered to as the “master race” in popular culture?
This is not just about Hitler…this idea predates Hitler. The fall of Rome was due to the Germanic people…the Germanic peoples were considered literally barbarians. Rome in it’s travels and everything was very imperialistic. Not only did they go in and take over countries and territories, but they enslaved the people. The Germanic people were nomadic, wild, and barbaric, BUT also they were warriors…so not only were they enslaved, but they were brought into the Roman armies. This is also part of what brought down Rome. AFTER THE FALL OF ROME The Roman empire split in half and the Germanic people took over the western half–i.e.–France (the Franks), England, Germany, Austria…all of that portion…so the phrase “master race” is racist and/or nationalistic however you want it…the reason I say this is because AFRICANS are actually the master race, not any other race… “master race” predates Hitler and only goes back insofar as the Fall of Rome which is the in the early A.D. years
