Why are fundraisers necessary?
Barron/Chetek Youth Hockey which is incorporated as Barron Youth Hockey Association Inc., is a charitable tax-exempt organization under the United State Internal Revenue Code as described in section 501(c)(3). We are also a 100% volunteer organization which makes fundraising very important to the continued success of our youth program. Fundraisers assist us in keeping registration fees low and accomplishing our stated mission of providing our area’s youth (regardless of ability, race, gender, or economic background) the opportunity to participate in an affordable hockey program in a positive and safe environment. Funds raised are necessary to help cover maintenance, equipment, supplies, and operating expenses incurred in the operation of our youth hockey programs. Back to the top.
