Why Are First-Party Sony Video Games Unpopular?
Sony doesn’t choose continue their franchises into future systems. They would rather create new and unproven brands. Therefore, Sony titles does have a huge already-established fan base like Nintendo does that could help spur sales figures. Although the Sony brand of video games is some of the best on the market, the general public did not care too much for those titles. In order to catch up to Microsoft and Nintendo, Sony needs to improve their philosophy on handling their self-published and self-developed games.
