Why are firehouse dogs usually Dalmatians?
Dear Straight Dope: Riding on the bus past the daycare at my university, I noticed they were doing a big fire-safety presentation. The visiting firefighters were accompanied by a large fuzzy mascot–a dalmation, of course.
