Why are females generally more expensive?
Many breeders will charge more for a female, because females seem to sell better than males and it is believed that, if breeding, females will make the owner more money. It is also thought they are easier to train and have a better temperament. None are true, but the general opinion molds the market. How do I know if I am choosing the right puppy? If you feel a special connection with a puppy then it is a good choice, if there is no connection, then walk away. Choosing a puppy is all instinct. Is a puppy with registration better than one without? If that is the only factor, no. Registration does not make a dog healthier, nicer, better bred, or… well… better. Is one registration better than another? Yes and No. If you are getting a pet, no. It does not matter if your pet is registered if you will not or cannot take advantage of the benefits.
