Why are female criminals less in comparison to males?

Yeahokaywhateverabouttestosterone. There are less female criminals because females tend to not commit vicous crimes. One of the biggest things with female crime is the fact that females tend to commit crime against people that they know, versus males who commit crime against anyone. Now, this isn’t an excuse to say that there is no gender discrimination in favor of females but the CJ (criminal justice) system is slowly inching towards treating everyone as a “Blank Slate”……….That’s my look on it. The laws themselves are another issue in my opinion but this question doesn’t call for that :). But one thing is for sure even though I wish crime was going down altogether…female crime is going up, slowly, and male crime is going down slowly/evened out..

What bothers me is how many people think that women are able to charm their way out of trouble because most law enforcement people are men. It’s saying that men are stupid brutes who can be easily led around. There are plenty of men out there where that sort of behavior doesn’t work on them. Not everybody is as easily fooled as some people would like to believe. The reason there aren’t as many female criminals is because they tend to commit less violent crimes. Less violent crimes generally lead to lighter sentences. Look at all the male executives at Enron who stole millions from their own company. They got relatively light sentences. If they had broken into someone’s house and stolen a DVD player, they would have gotten a much harsher sentence.
