Why are events synced with Google Calendar off by an hour or so?
Your local time zone settings and Google time zone settings probably don’t match. Time zones are set in a number of different places. Here are the different places you need to check to make sure everything is in agreement. • Mac System Preferences > Date & Time > Time Zone • BusyCal > Preferences > Advanced > check “Show time zone menu”. Then make sure the time zone in the top right corner of the window is correct • iCal > Preferences > Advanced > check “Turn on time zone support”. Then make sure the time zone in the top right corner of the window is correct • Google Calendar > Settings > General > Your current time zone (you may need to check “show all timezones” to see your timezone) • Google Calendar > Settings > Calendars > Calendar Details > Calendar Time Zone (you may need to check “show all timezones” to see your timezone) After all that, new events you create should sync properly.
