Why are Ecoplas Bags better than bags made with the “oxy” additive (so called “oxo” bags)?
Oxo bags use heavy metal additives such as cadmium. You don’t want this in the ground or in ground water. Oxy bags begin degrading as soon as they are made. They degrade in oxygen, so they are not stable. Your bag inventory must be rotated like fruit in a grocery store. Also, Oxo bags do NOT break down to a molecular size. They simply break down into small pieces of plastic.
