Why are eco activists always referring to earth as spaceship earth?
The earth is, in fact, a spaceship. Don’t look for a “supply ship” to pull up along side any time soon to replenish something like, say, our oil. That’s not going to happen. The “spaceship earth” message is to use wisely what is here. Be smart about it. No one is going to come and bail us out if we drop the ball on this one. We can’t call anyone for assistance. We’re on our own.
