Why are EATware® plates brown in color?
EATware® is dedicated to protecting the environment. We chose not to use bleaching process necessary to create “white” plates in order to minimize resources used in the creation of our product. Sewage disposal after the bleaching process is very damaging to aquatic lives. Color variations in our products from time to time are simply due to the natural color variation between bamboo pulps.
