Why are Dwarf Asters better than “Hardy” Mums?
Dwarf Asters are much more hardy than mums. Hardy mum plants have been known to have questionable survivability in our area. Dwarf Asters require no bud pruning to make the plant bloom at the correct time, mums require the flower buds be removed until the end of July to promote fall flowering.
