Why are doors so laggy in MP? …..
(ModMaker) door and elevators can have problems in MP because the information that “the door is now opening” has to be sent to all the other computers online. So which ever is the slowest computer, or the one with the worst ping, is the weakest link… Doors should be designed in confined areas, and portals should be used as well, to block vis. The design and placement of doors in MP is critical. You shouldn’t have them in wide open areas…
