While washing machines have been included in the new Living Victoria Water Rebate Program, dishwashers have not been included. Dishwashers use a smaller amount of water per wash and thus water saving is greater with a clothes washing machine. The selection of products has tried to make the best use of funds and at this stage washing machines provide the greatest potential savings.
