Why are different percentages donated to the NMSS for different merchants?
Each merchant has different commission structures. Some merchants that sell magazine subscriptions and toner cartridges tend to have higher commissions, while others that sell books and electronics have lower commissions. Also, some merchants pay varying commission amounts for their own products. We attempt to balance out these differences when figuring the percentage that we donate to the NMSS.
